CORPORAL punishment leaves deep psychological, physical and social impact on children’s behaviour. Physical punishment stressed the students and even they lose the courage to decide things in their favour.

Suicide cases increased due to corporal punishment in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa districts.

All the problems leading to corporal punishment could easily be solved through a mechanism of guidance and counseling.

State legislation could shape the attitude and practices of society. Hence, an explicit ban on harsh treatment of children in schools all over the country is of great importance.
