LAHORE, June 19: A 45-year-old woman was stabbed to death allegedly by her husband on Manga Road on Tuesday.

Raiwind City police said Munir Ahmad attacked Sughran, a mother of three, following an argument linking financial constraints. The woman was taken to hospital where she died.

The police registered a case against the suspect on the complaint of victim’s brother Yaqoob.

ACCIDENT: A 25-year-old woman was killed after being hit by a Punjab University bus near Chungi Amar Sidhu on Tuesday.

The police said the victim, so far unidentified, was crossing a road at the time of the incident.
