TAXILA, June 16: The body of a person, missing for the last three days, was found lying near a drain in the limits of Hassanabdal police station on Saturday.
Police sources said 22-year-old Waqas Shabbir, resident of Saadat Colony, went on his work but did not return home as usual. After three days, his body was spotted by scavenger children who informed the police.
In another incident, Taxila police arrested two proclaimed offenders wanted in robbery and theft cases.
Mohammad Nawaz and Waqar Abbasi were involved in robbery cases and had also been booked under explosive act.—Our Correspondent
