PESHAWAR: A bomb attack on a police mobile killed seven police officials in Kohat, southern city of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Saturday, DawnNews reported.

The contingent was patrolling Dhoda Road area of the city when a remote-controlled bomb exploded, injuring at least 10 policemen including an additional SHO.

Seven of the injured succumbed to their injuries on the way to a nearby hospital.

The additional SHO was among the dead.

Three more injured are reported to be in critical condition.

Law enforcement agencies have cordoned off the area and started an initial investigation into the incident.
