Pakistan were beaten comprehensively in the fourth ODI by Sri Lanka, after their batsmen failed to chase down 244 runs at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. Six Pakistani batsmen were dismissed for 0, while Azhar Ali’s top score of 81 remained a valiant effort in a losing cause for the second time in the series. Kumar Sangakkara’s 97 helped Sri Lanka put up a tricky target for Pakistan, who were back in the pavilion for 199. Thisara Perea and Lasith Malinga combined to dismiss seven Pakistani batsmen.
