MARDAN, June 14: Three people, including a woman, were killed and as many others received bullet injuries in two different incidents here on Thursday. Officials of Sahro Shah police station in Takhtbhai tehsil quoted Ms Husan Pari as saying that one of their relatives identified as Nawaz came to stay at their home for a night. She said that her son, Hazrat Umar, opened fire and killed her daughter Shazia and Nawaz when he saw them ‘together’ on the night between Wednesday and Thursday. Sahro Shah police registered an FIR on the complaint of Ms Pari against her son. In another incident, a man was killed while three passers-by were injured when armed men opened fire on them at Usai Garyala bus stop here on Thursday. Sher Aman, father of the victim identified as Sarad Khan, told Shahbaz Garhi police station that he along with his son was returning from hearing of their case in Mardan courts when their opponents opened fire on them, killing his son on the spot. During firing three passers-by were also injured, but they were stated be out of danger. Mr Aman later registered an FIR with Shahbaz Garhi police station against the accused identified as Riaz, Mir Nawaz, Umar Gul, Abid and Bakht Sher.
