KARACHI: Experienced trio of Khurram Agha, Shehram Changezi and Sharjeel Mahmood maintained their winning ways on the third day of the Jubilee Insurance National Ranking Snooker Championship at Karachi Club Billiards Hall on Thursday.

Khurram, who remained Pakistan number one for nearly three and half years, bulldozed Balochistan's Zahoor Ahmed 4-1. He was tied with Mahmood, who also won this first three league matches in group D.

Mahmood from Haripur beat Ishtiaq 4-2 while Changezi defeated Jawed Ansari.

Ishtiaq, who shocked top seed Muhammad Asif and fourth seed Naveen Perwani on the first day, failed to maintain his tempo and struggled against Sharjeel.

Muhammad Bilal of Punjab ranked 30th in Pakistan, produced a stir in the afternoon session by notching a surprise 4-2 win over 14th ranked Sohail Shehzad of Sindh with a break of 52 in the opening frame.
