GUJRANWALA, Dec 13: Another accused involved in the killing of PPP city president Khalid Humayun was arrested in Quetta.

The Sabzi Mandi police brought the arrested accused to Gujranwala here on Friday.

Kashif Siddiq, the main accused, was arrested from Quetta on Thursday while his brother Asif Siddiq was also arrested from Quetta as he reached their from Iran.

Both the brothers had run away to Iran via Quetta after killing the PPP leader some two weeks ago. The Sabzi Mandi police had provided their photographs to the border police. Federal Interior Minister Faisal Saleh Hayat had visited the residence of the slain PPP leader a few days ago and directed the police to apprehend the killers immediately.

Another accused Hafiz Jamal of Peoples Colony who had escaped from the police custody mysteriously some few days ago could not be arrested. For this negligence, DPO Saud Aziz had already suspended Sabzi Mandi SHO Amir Sundho and ASI Ijaz Ahmed.

RESULTS: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Gujranwala, will announce the results of FA supplementary examinations, 2002, here on Monday.

This was stated by the controller examination in a press release issued here on Friday.

He said the result cards of those candidates who did not clear their dues were withheld. He directed them to clear their outstanding dues immediately.
