KARACHI, Dec 13: A written test for selection of about 1,300 schoolteachers and instructors for a four-week professional development training in the city under the middle school project will be held on Dec 16.

The test for training of HST, JST, SLT, OT, AWI and computer teachers would be held at 11am in seven schools.

The chairman of the selection committee, Mohammad Afsar Ali, has asked the intending in-service teachers to report at the concerned centres at 10am.

Teachers would also be paid daily honorarium upon completion of the training. The test centres for different subjects are as follows:

NJV GBHSS, M. A. Jinnah Road (for HST and head-teachers), Maj Ziauddin Abbasi Lower Secondary School, Nazimabad-2 (English JST), Anjuman-i-Islamia Govt Boys Primary School, Liaquatabad No 10 (Science JST), Govt Boys’ Secondary School, Jacob Line (Social Studies JST), Delhi Govt Boys Secondary School, Karimabad (Urdu/Sindhi JST), Children’s Academy Govt Boys Secondary School, Nazimabad No 4 (Mathematics) and Government Boys Secondary School No 1, Nazimabad-2 (skill development).
