KARACHI: Young man killed

KARACHI, Dec 13: A young man was killed in Mochko late Thursday night.

Police said that Karim Bengali, aged 40, was called out of his house by unknown persons. They took him to a place some distance from his house and smashed his head with a heavy stone. He died on the spot.

The body was sent to Civil Hospital for post-mortem.

The dead man’s wife lodged an FIR at the area police against unknown persons. Police suspected personal enmity to be the possible motive behind the killing.

ROBBERIES: Three robberies were committed in the city on Friday, police said.

Armed men, riding on a motorcycle, robbed a young man of his mobile phone and some petty cash in the police limits of Artillery Maidan.

Bandits looted cash, gold jewellery and other valuables from Ghulam Maher’s house in Gulshan-i-Iqbal.

Bandits raided Ali Gohar’s house in Nazimabad and got away with cash and valuables.
