QUETTA, June 9: The secretary general of the National Party, Mir Tahir Bizenjo, said on Saturday that there was a political crisis in Balochistan which needed to be resolved politically.

Addressing a press conference here, he said that disappearance of people and dumping of mutilated bodies were the main issues and that the situation in the province would not improved until these issues were resolved.

He praised the action taken by the Supreme Court on the two issues and said the court represented the last hope of the Balochistan people.

He regretted that the government was not cooperating with the court to resolve the crisis and its lukewarm attitude had only served to deepen the crisis.  He said the president and prime minister should take concrete steps to resolve the crisis.
