KARACHI: Home Minister Sindh Manzoor Wassan excused to continue his official duties and offered the resignation to President Asif Ali Zardari on Friday , DawnNews reported.

President Zardari and Wassan held a meeting met on Friday at Bilawal House.

The president has accepted Wassan’s resignation, sources said.

The outgoing home minister said that he was giving his resignation due to his illness.

The decision on the appointment of a new home minister of the province will be taken soon, sources said.
