POA to review PBF affiliation

Published December 11, 2002

LAHORE, Dec 10: An important meeting of the Pakistan Olympic Association (POA) constitution committee, will be held on Thursday to discuss matters relating to the affiliation of the Pakistan Badminton Federation.

PBF, headed by Syed Mohib Asad as president, and Aamir Hayat Khan Rokri as secretary, seeks POA affiliation since the new body was elected through elections held at Islamabad. The elections were conducted by the PSB under the new sports policy which the POA is not accepting.—By Our Sports Correspondent
