ISLAMABAD, Dec 10: The Chairman of the Implementation Tribunal for Newspaper Employees, Mr Justice Jawaid Nawaz Khan Gandapur, held court at Peshawar on Tuesday and heard the complaints of the newspaper employees.

In the complaint filed by Shah Jehan, against daily Khyber Mail, Peshawar, the Tribunal, awarding monetary relief of Rs30,000, to the complainant, disposed of his petition. Payment to the complainant was made before the Tribunal.

In another case of Daily Khyber Mail, regarding the implementation of the 6th Wage Board Award, the Judge adjourned the case at the request of the management on payment of cost of Rs1,000, which is payable before the Tribunal on the next date of hearing.

In complaints filed by M/s Mohammad Ibrahim and Saiful Islam, against Daily Pakistan, Islamabad, Bureau at Peshawar, the Tribunal has ordered the issuance of contempt no-tice against Inayatullah Khan Niazi of daily Pakistan, Islamabad.

Mr Gandapur is on a week-long tour to Peshawar from Monday to Saturday.—APP
