Inzamam-ul-Haq scored his first Test century against Australia in 1999. It was his eighth ton in Tests at that time but having made a debut in 1992, it seemed a long time coming a little. That the opposition had the likes of Shane Warne, Glenn McGrath and Damien Fleming in their bowling ranks in that Hobart Test was only one of the reasons to smile for 'big Inzi'. More importantly, though, it gave Australia a target of 369 to chase in the second Test. Inzamam's fine innings ended courtesy of a stunning catch by Mark Waugh in the slips.
