NG, ESCC in semis

KARACHI, Dec 9: National Gymkhana and Eastern Stars CC reach the semifinal of All Karachi Haji Jalaluddin Memorial Tournament on Monday.

NG beat Azizabad Gymkhana by seven runs and ESCC defeated Gulshan XI by five wickets.

Yasir Abbas captured six wickets for 36 but his effort went in vain. NG batting first made 141-9 in 20 overs. AG in reply were restricted to 134-9.

In the other match Hyder Ahmed smashed 81 off 39 balls with nine fours and three sixes to power ESCC to victory.
