LAHORE: Nineteen more bouts were decided on the third day of the 34th National Boxing Championships at the Punjab College Hall here on Wednesday.

In 49kg category, four bouts were held in which only Mohib (Police) faced some significant time from Obaih of the PAF before losing 16-12, whereas Sheroz (Navy), Jabbar (Balochistan) and Naqeebullah (Wapda) recorded comfortable wins against their respective rivals.

In the 52kg event, Attaullah, Abdul Waheed, Mohammad Wasim and Hallar Qambarani earned facile victories.

Meanwhile, four fights each in 56kg and 60kg while three bouts in the 64kg category were also decided.

Results: 49kg: Mohib (Police) bt Obaih (PAF); Sheroz (Navy) bt Azam (Punjab) Jabbar (Balochistan) bt Noman (Army); Naqeebullah (Wapda) bt Shoaib Murad (Rangers).

52kg: Attaullah (Police) bt Imran (Fata); Abdul Waheed (PAF) bt Jamil (Army); Mohammad Wasim (Wapda) bt Mohammad Asif (Railways); Hallar Qambrani (HEC) bt Shoaib (Sindh).

56kg: Khair Mohammad (Rangers) bt S. Israr (Sindh); Sanaullah (Navy) bt Mohammad Raza (Railways); Niamatullah (PAF) bt Sajjad Ali (Army); Khawar (Wapda) bt Asadullah.

60kg: Qadir Khan (Wapda) bt Farhan (PAF); Aamar (Navy) bt Asmatullah (Railways); Mohammad Haroon (Police) bt Fareed (KP); Nawaz (Army) bt Mir Balaj (Sindh).

64kg: Sanaullah (Balochistan) bt Faran (Sindh) — retired; Adnan (PAF) bt Sahib Khan (Wapda); Mohammad Ali (Navy) bt A.
