Three killed in accident

BAJAUR, Dec 9: Three people were killed and two others received injuries in a road accident here on Monday.

According to witnesses, driver of a Mamond-bound pickup (KG-5415) lost control of the steering while negotiating a sharp turn near Barkhlozo, 10km from here, and the vehicle rammed into a group of people standing roadside.

The deceased were identified as Mohammad Sadiq, Faisal and Jamroz, whereas injured were identified as Naimatullah and Mian Deen. The injured were taken to the agency headquarters hospital where condition of Naimatullah was stated to be serious. The pickup was going from Khar to Mamond area.

The Bajaur levies arrested the pickup driver, Gul Zaman. The area people have demanded action against the driver.
