ISLAMABAD: Afghanistan U-14 football team brushed aside both Pakistan and Pakistan A teams in AFC U-14 (Boys) Festival of Football on Saturday.
Afghanistan first defeated Pakistan by 1-0 as Omaid Haider’s goal proved to be the decider of the match. Later in the day, Afghanistan thrashed Pakistan A 3-1.
Nisar, Omaid Haider and Khalid scored one goal each for the visitors. Jameel scored the consolatory goal for Pakistan.
Meanwhile, the matches of Pakistan A against Tajikistan and Pakistan against the same side ended in an identical 0-0 draws.
