RAWALPINDI, April 12: The dead body of a two-year-old boy who slipped into a water boring hole while playing near his house in Sihala was pulled out by rescuers after efforts for more than five hours on Thursday night.

Mohammad Omer was playing in the green fields outside his house while his mother was cutting grass nearby when all of a sudden he disappeared. According to rescuers, the boy slipped into the boring hole as the workers had gone for a tea break leaving it uncovered. On hearing boy’s scream, his mother rushed to rescue him but to no avail.

Later Rescue 1122 teams arrived there and pulled the boy’s body out at around 11pm and handed it over to his parents.— A Reporter
