RAWALPINDI, Dec 5: One person died and another was injured when a car hit them near Khanna bridge on Thursday, police said.
The police said Iftikhar Hussain and Mohammad Khan were crossing a road when a speeding car (IDF-6064) coming from Islamabad airport hit them.
Iftikhar Hussain, a resident of Bara Kahu, died on the spot while Mohammad Khan was shifted to Pakistan Institute of Medical Science. He is said to be in a critical condition. The car driver, Chaudhry Mohammad Ashraf, resident of F- 10/4, was arrested by the Secretariat police.—Staff Reporter
