ISLAMABAD, March 23: The capital police on Friday arrested 17 outlaws for their alleged involvement in drug peddling, possessing illegal weapons and recovered narcotics, wine and weapons from them, a spokesman for police said.

According to details, the Tarnol police arrested two alleged drug peddlers after a recovery of 2kg of hashish from them.

Likewise, the Golra police also recovered hashish weighing 240gm and heroin 20gm separately from two persons which led to their arrest. The police also arrested an alleged bootlegger on a tip off and recovered 20 bottles of wine from him. — Staff Reporter
