KARACHI, March 20: The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) has announced that the candidates who had failed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (supplementary) examination-2011 may reappear in the ensuing annual examination-2012 as private candidates.

The BIEK controller of examinations said that the unsuccessful candidates of the science (pre-medical, pre-engineering & science general), commerce and humanities groups could submit their exam forms from March 22 to April 2 without any late fee and from April 3 to 9 with a late fee of Rs200.

He said that all leftover private candidates of science, commerce and humanities, including those who could not submit their forms for improvement of division or additional subjects within the stipulated time, could also submit their forms for the upcoming examination from April 18 to 23 with a late fee of Rs1,500.

All candidates should submit their forms along with the fee at the board's Habib Bank branch after getting their documents verified from the examination department, he said, adding that the regular candidates should contact the principals of their respective colleges.
