ISLAMABAD, March 16: Students, families and a large number of fun lovers thronged National University of Modern Languages (Numl) to celebrate Annual Spring Extravaganza on Friday.

More than 30 stalls of different items were arranged by faculty members and students of the university offering variety of products including various food items.

Stalls of garments, handicraft, arts and craft, kites, jewellery, toys, face painting, music and books also amused the visitors.

A great source of entertainment was a stall where students sang different songs and dedicated them to their friends.

The visitors took keen interest in regional cultural show exhibiting culture of Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan (GB), Sindh, Punjab, Kashmir and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP).

“We all are enjoying on the Sindhi folk tunes and wearing traditional Ajrak and cap to represent Sindhi culture,” said a Chinese student Yang Sheen.

Many foreign students and visitors also enjoyed the show.

A student of mass communication, Mohammad Irfan, said: “He and his friends are enjoying kite flying and variety of food items.”

Visitors thronged stalls of Chapli Kabab, Multani Khusa and dresses which were arranged by Peshawar Regional Campus and Multan Campus. — APP
