PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly on Saturday came into action when an adjournment motion was moved against the tabling of a bill on Balochistan by three US lawmakers in the House of Representatives.
The motion moved by Javed Abbasi, a PML-N legislator, said that the bill was a violation of international laws and it was an attack on Pakistan' sovereignty.
The motion was submitted in the assembly’s secretariat for debate.
Meanwhile, Information Minister Firdous Ashiq Awan termed the US bill a conspiracy and said that Pakistan's Foreign Office had responded appropriately to this new move.
Awan while speaking to journalists in Lahore said the government was making every effort to win back the confidence of the Baloch people.—DawnNews
