Cut in POL prices hailed

FAISALABAD, Dec 1: Local traders, transporters and farmers have gladly received the announcement of reduction in petroleum prices.

Mian Faiq Jawed, executive member of the All Pakistan Cloth Exporters Association, said more incentives like this were needed to give a boost to the industrial sector.

Anjuman Tajiran president Muhammad Nawaz Vohra said the government had succeeded in winning the hearts of the poor.

Transporters Association chief Wali Muhammad Gujjar said transporters had been facing serious financial problems due to escalating prices of POL products.

Farmers Association Faisalabad president Mian Tahir Saeed also hailed the government decision.
