HYDERABAD, Dec 1: The officers of the Sui Southern Gas Company have appealed the chief justice to take suo motu action in the non-payment of their seven-month salary despite the court order in this regard.

They were Talking to newsmen at the demonstration, held by them and their children outside local the press club for the fourth consecutive day on Sunday.

They are protesting against the non-payment of their seven-month salary.

The leader of the SSGC Officers Action Committee, Abdul Ghafoor Soomro, said the Supreme Court and the Federal Service Tribunal had directed the management of the company to implement the orders of the court and the tribunal, regarding the payment of their salary, within seven days.
