KARACHI, Feb 12: Two 30-metre-long ferry boats of the Karachi Port Trust were commissioned for providing travelling facility to citizens between Karachi and Manora Island.
Federal Minister for Shipping and Ports Senator Babar Ghauri commissioned the two boats, FB Arfa and FB Afza, along with a boat, procured by the marine pollution control department at a cost of Rs1.4 million, for debris collection.
Built in Bangladesh, each ferry boat has the capacity of 200 passengers.—PPI
