KARACHI, Feb 8: The All Pakistan Newspapers Society has invited entries for the 22nd APNS Advertising Awards.

The categories for which entries have been invited are as follows:

— Business Performance Award, to be given to agency that has placed the highest volume of business in APNS member publications.

— Special Business Awards (three awards), for agencies which have increased their business in terms of percentage over the past year in three categories of APNS member publications: (a) Periodicals (magazines), (b) Regional dailies, (c) Metro B dailies.— Client Performance Awards, two awards for clients of accredited agencies, one each for private and public sector organisations for the highest volume of business placed in APNS member publications. Entrants should send in their publication-wise statement of billing to prove the amount of their net business.

— Creative Awards, for agencies and their employees in four categories: Best Newspaper ad, Best periodical (magazine) ad, Best campaign, and Best public service campaign.

The entrants may send a maximum three entries for each category by Feb 20, 2012 to Anwar Farooqui, Convener, APNS Awards Committee, 32 Farid Chambers, Abdullah Haroon Road, Karachi.
