MULTAN, Nov 30: A student of the seminary was allegedly tortured to death by two teachers and four fellow students between Friday and Saturday night in Ahmedpur Sharqia.

Maulana Mufti Abdul Qudoos, Maulana Mahmoodul Hassan, the administrator and deputy administrator of Arabia Qasmia, suspected that Rafique Ahmad (22) had stolen Rs30,000 four days ago.

They along with students Naveed, Ismaeel, Roman and Hafeez hanged Rafique upside down and clubbed him to death. Maulana Qudoos and Maulana Mahmood are father and son.

On the report of the deceased father Elahi Bukhsh, police have registered a case against the administrator, the deputy administrator and four students of the seminary.

Police said that Maulana Qudoos suspected that the deceased had relations with his second wife.
