MITHI, Nov 30: A newly-established NGO, Tharparkar Human Awareness Rural Integrated Programme, will soon announce a relief package for the drought-hit populace of Thar.

This was said by the chairman of the NGO, Pir Abdul Haq Jan Sarhandi, while speaking at a meeting of the founding members and trustees of the organization here the other day.

He said the organization intended to work in around sixty villages of Mithi and Nagarparkar talukas. He said the basic objective of the NGO was to make Tharis know what kind of planning they should devise to cope with drought or famine.

Dr Pirdhan Rupani, Haji Allah Jurio, Noor Ahmed Janjhi, Abdi Nohri, Rajesh Kumar, Haji Younus and others attended the meeting.
