KARACHI, Nov 29: The City District Government has changed the status of employees of secretary level in the defunct Karachi Development Authority (KDA).

The posts of secretary, deputy secretary and assistant secretary have been redesignated as district officer, deputy district officer, and assistant district officer respectively. The status of private secretary has also been converted into assistant district officer.

It may be recalled here that a decision to this effect had been taken at a recent meeting of the City District Government and enforced under the SLGO 2002.—APP
