KARACHI, Nov 29: Provincial Secretary Labour, Raja Muhammad Abbas, inspected the Kidney Centre, Social Security Hospital being constructed for workers by the Sindh Workers Welfare Board, and the under-construction 600-flat housing scheme in Landhi on Friday.

He was accompanied by Director Works SWWB, Muhammad Zafar Saleem, consultants and other officers.

On his visit to the Social Security Hospital Landhi, he instructed Commissioner Sindh Social Security, Capt Nasir Hayat to ensure the ambulance facility for patients, besides sanitation and cleanliness in the hospital.

The secretary also inspected the under-construction housing scheme and directed the consultants concerned of the Kidney Centre to give him a detailed briefing on the latest progress report.

The consultants informed the secretary that about 95 per cent of the construction work has been completed and the remaining work would be concluded by December this year. The secretary also instructed that the encroachments in the surroundings be removed.—PPI
