LAHORE, Jan 26: No toll will be charged from motorists at Ravi Bridge from Feb 3, says Evacuee Trust Property Board Chairman Asif Hashmi.
"Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani will inaugurate a new toll near Kala Shah Kaku on Feb 3 and abolish the same at Ravi Bridge," Mr Hashmi told Dawn on Thursday.
He said the PPP government had fulfilled its promise to residents of Shahdara and adjoining localities.
He said the Ravi toll was also a hindrance in smooth flow of traffic and the decision would also help address this problem.-Staff Reporter
