DERA GHAZI KHAN, Nov 28: Three family members, including a woman, were shot dead on Thursday by six assailants over an old enmity in the limits of Kot Mubarik police station, some 15kms from here.

Khalid and his five accomplices barged into the house of Karim Bukhsh and opened fire on him, Amina and Mukhtiar, killing them instantly. Later, the assailants managed to flee from the scene. The assailants and deceased belong to the Khosa tribe.

It is learnt that at least 20 people of both the families have so far lost their lives.

Kot Mubarik police are looking into the matter.
