Businessman kidnapped

MIRPURKHAS, Nov 28: A Hindu trader, Narumal, was reported to have been kidnapped on Thursday from Tando Jan Mohammad.

He was kidnapped four days ago while he was on his way from Tando Allahyar after visiting his brother, Sarwan.

A total of seven persons were so far been reported to have been kidnapped for ransom in the district.

ARRESTED: Police have arrested Porho Tangri and claimed that the accused was an accomplice of the bandit, Mumtaz Mari, who had kidnapped the medical superintendent, Jhuddo, Dr Haji Mohammad Memon and Mohammad Kamil.

Police sources said that Porho Tangri had been with the bandits at the time of the kidnapping.

Meanwhile, the police raided the houses of the relatives of another outlaw, Ashraf Khask-heli, who is believed to be a member of Mumtaz Mari’s gang.
