KARACHI: Aid for the disabled

KARACHI, Nov 28: Rs90,910 in both cash and kind were distributed among 28 disabled persons in the city by the provincial council for rehabilitation of disabled persons, Social Welfare Department, Sindh.

Rs130,000 for 26 registered disabled persons, who had applied for assistance were duly approved in the light of the recommendations of the committees with an additional assistance of Rs15,000 for tricycles, sewing machines, zigzag machines, wheel chairs, hearing aids and provisions for artificial limbs and their repair.—PPI
