MULTAN, Nov 28: The following are Thursday’s upcountry commodity market rates in rupees:

FOODGRAINS (per 100 kg): Wheat 800 to 825; Maize 687 to 750; Jowar 625 to 675; Bajra 750 to 875; Barley 725 to 750.

Rice superior 2,000; to 2,650 Rice inferior 825 to 850.

SWEETS: Sugar White 1,880 to 1,890; Shakkar 2,000 to 2,500; Gur 1,200 to 1,600.

PULSES (per 100 kg) Masoor whole 2,250 to 2,600; Masoor dal 2,500 to 3,000; Grams Black 2,075 to 2,350; Grams white 2,300 to 2,650; Gram dal 2,600 to 2,800; Mash whole 1,850 to 1,900; Mash washed 2,400 to 2,300; Unwashed 2,050 to 2,100; Moong whole 1,650 to 1,700; Moong washed 2,175 to 2,185; Unwashed 1,800 to 1,850.

OIL AND OILSEEDS (per 100 kg): Ghee Desi 14,000 to 14,500; Rapeseed oil 4,875; Rapeseed 1,875 to 1,937; Cottonseed oil 4,502 to 4,529; Cottonseed 964 to 991; Cottonseed oil cake 762; Rapeseed oil cake 762;
