HYDERABAD, Jan 17: Ali Bukhari won the boys’ U-19 final of the second Rehana Nazar Rashidabad National Junior Squash Championship at the Rehana Nazar Squash Complex, Rashidabad District Tando Allayar on Tuesday.

The winner won first, third and fourth games while losing the second.

Ali received Rs9,500.

Asim Khan, Israr Ahmed, Kashif Asif and Salman Jilani claimed boys’ U-17, U-15, U-13 and U-11 titles.

Riffat Khan showed strength of nerves and stamina to win girls’ U-19 crown by winning the last three games after losing the first two.

She pocketed Rs7,600.

Result (finals): Boys’ U-19: Ali Bukhari (FMC) bt Tayyab Aslam (Punjab) 11-4, 10-12, 11-4, 11-9. Boys’ U-17: Asim Khan (Punjab) bt Salman Zaib (PAF) 11-3, 11-5, 9-11, 6-11, 13-11. Boys’ U-15: Israr Ahmed (Punjab) bt Zeeshan Khan (PAF) 11-6, 14-12, 11-9.

Boys’ U-13: Kashif Asif (Punjab) bt Ahsan Ayaz (PAF) 12-10, 2-11, 11-6, 11-8. Boys’ U-11: Salman Jilani (PSB) bt Ali Karamat (PAF) 9-11, 11-9, 14-12, 5-11, 11-8. Girls’ U-19: Riffat Khan (Punjab) bt Samar Anjum (Punjab) 9-11, 9-11, 11-8, 11-5, 11-9.
