ISLAMABAD, Nov 27: The foreign ministry on Wednesday described the shooting to death of two suspected militants in an Indian shopping mall early this month “extra-judicial killings” by Indian security agencies.

A statement accused Indian security forces of engaging in extra-judicial killings through “stage-managed operations,” after which the Indians “present those murdered as terrorists killed in action.”

“The latest manifestation of this strategy was the recent killing of two individuals at Ansal Plaza in New Delhi,” it said. “There is sufficient evidence now to confirm that the operation was planned and executed by the Indian security agencies in pursuit of their nefarious designs,” it said.—AFP
