KARACHI: Self-financing housing scheme

KARACHI, Nov 27: The Sindh government has accorded approval to the launching of the Taseer Town Housing Scheme in the city in Scheme-45 on an area of 2500 acres on self-financing basis.

According to official sources, about 45% of land will be earmarked for residential plots of 120 to 400 sq. yards, while 10% of the total land will be earmarked for low-income groups with 50 to 80 sq. yards plots.

The executive agency of the project will be the city district government of Karachi.—APP
