ISLAMABAD: Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) leader Azeem Khan was killed in an attack by unknown miscreants in Lakki Marwat on Monday, DawnNews reported.

According to police the JUI-F leader and the former union council nazim was attacked by unknown people near Nawar Khel area.

Police said that Khan was returning back to Lakki Marwat after visiting his native town Bibo Khel, when unknown people opened fire on his vehicle.

The dead body and the injured guard were taken to Lakki Marwat hospital immediately after the attack.
