Six perish in three accidents

DERA GHAZI KHAN, Nov 24: Six people died in three road accidents on Sunday in the district.

First accident took place on the Dera-Quetta highway near Mitha Kho, when a speeding truck crushed to death two of three motorbike riders. The third was left critically injured.

The dead were identified as Muhammed Awais and Riyaz. Injured Saifullah was removed to the Nishtar Hospital, Multan. Truck driver Abdulla Jan was arrested by Sadar police.

Near the New General Bus stand a Rahimyar Khan-bound hit and run bus trampled Mushtaq Hussain, 12.

On Indus highway, a speeding van hit and killed three motorcyclists of a family. They were identified as Maulvi Nazir Ahmed, Saleem Akhtar and an unidentified woman.
