Garhi Khuda Bux: Special prayers were offered in mosques of the province for the departed soul of Benazir Bhutto.
She was shot at Liaquat Bagh in Rawalpindi on December 27, 2007 as she left the venue after addressing historic public meeting.
The District Organization of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has also moved to Garhi Khuda Bux to lay floral wreath at the mazars of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, Benazir Bhutto and other martyrs of the Bhutto family.
All necessary arrangements have been put in place to facilitate the workers and general public on the occasion.
A big public gathering is being held at Garhi Khuda Bux which is expected to be addressed by President Asif Ali Zardari,Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani, Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and other PPP leaders to pay homage to the leader.
