Religion has nothing to do with the business of the state. That was Jinnah's vision of Pakistan in one sentence. The Objectives Resolution is a negation of that vision. Just as Hadith hijacked, tampered and damaged the original text and message of Qur'an 200 years after the last revelation, the passage and incorporation of the Objectives Resolution in the Constitution sowed the seeds of intolerance, bigotry and xenophobia in the body politic - in fact in the entire social fabric of Pakistan.
