Rashid shines

KARACHI, Nov 23: All-rounder Rashid Hanif guided Landhi Friends to a comfortable 49-run victory over Mohammad Hussain CC in the Aga Khan Gymkhana Ramazan Cricket Tournament Saturday.

Landhi Friends, who were put into bat, collected 212 for six in their 25 overs.

Rashid led the onslaught with a breezy innings of 54 off only 32 balls, hitting four fours and three sixes.

In reply, Mohammad Hussain CC managed 153 all out in 22.1 overs despite a 48-ball 67 by Azhar Gul, who slammed six boundaries and a couple of sixes.

Tariq Hussain returned fine figures of four for 17.
