KARACHI, Nov 23: All the ex-students of the University of Karachi, who were declared ineligible for masters, graduate, diploma and certificate examinations due to expiry of their enrolment, have been given a last chance to appear in the coming semester examinations, a spokesman for the University said on Saturday.
He said that the academic council had allowed all old students of the University to appear in semester examinations as a last chance.
LLB results: Girls bagged all the top three positions in the LLB (final-year) examinations 2002 of the University of Karachi, which notified the results on Saturday.
Mahvish Butt of the S.M. Law College, with 1,285 marks out of 2,000, was declared first followed by Julie of the same college with 1,270 marks.
The third position went to Zeenat Hudani of the Urdu Law College, with 1,246 marks.
About 998 candidates had appeared in the examinations, out of whom 20 obtained first division, while 703 candidates passed the exams in second division. As many as 52 candidates could only pass part II of the exams.—APP
