FAISALABAD, Nov 22: Two children of a nomad family were burnt alive on Thursday night when their hut caught fire in Chak 156-RB, Chak Jhumra.

Jamshed (3) and his sister Razia Mushtaq (5) were playing with pieces of burnt coals in their hut in the absence of parents when clothes lying near caught fire. Instead of leaving the hut, the children took shelter in a cot.

The fire engulfed the entire hut within few minutes. The area people and members of other nomad families rushed to the spot and extinguished the fire, but they could not save the children.
