KARACHI: Afghan FC thrashed Police 6-0 in the Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL) on Thursday.

The match at Government High School in Chaman saw Afghan FC triumphing with a 6-0 score line over Police. Former Pakistan captain Jadeed Khan Pathan scored his second hat-trick in the league by getting four goals in the 13th, 50th, 56th and 65th minutes with Abdul Hadi (sixth minute) and Mahnaz Khan (77th min) adding two more.

Meanwhile Pakistan Air Force (PAF) and National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) played a goalless draw at the Jinnah Football Stadium in Islamabad.

In the second division league University FSD FC and Wohaib FC recorded wins at Railway Football Stadium in Lahore. University FSD FC beat Young Blood Sahiwal FC 2-1. The goals for the winners were scored by Imran Mumtaz (15th min) and Usman Manzoor (84th min) while Awan Raza reduced the margin for the losing side.

Wohaib FC edged past Baloch Quetta FC 1-0 with Mohammad Naeem getting them the deciding goal in the 60th minute.
