It was such a cerebral delight listening to members of Beyghairat Brigade talking to Ayza Omar on a morning show that the latter hosts on TV. It made the fact abundantly clear that the makers of one of the most talked-about songs in recent times, Aalu Andey, aren’t just guitar-playing, happy-go-lucky boys. The way they conducted themselves and the way they aired their opinion on certain important issues was worth lending an ear to. For example, replying to a question regarding a potential deal with a record label, the lead vocalist turned down the idea saying it’d make others dictate to them.
This, in contemporary times, is a pretty courageous thing to say. So, kudos on that, lads! Looking forward to your next number!
Also, this good-looking girl Ayza Omar must be mentioned for her candid, unpretentious and fluid hosting. At last someone has broken the inane, air-headed, unscripted mould of morning-show anchoring. To boot, she knows how to play with the camera. Keep it up gal!
